We had a wonderful day today. Yesterday the boys slept over with their Uncle Tong and just had a blast. They stayed at Hollywood Connection until 11 at night. They rode all the rides and played games. Everyone came over today for our annual BYU/UTAH partay game! We had the Vaisa Clan, Alatini Bunch, Tafisi Tribe, Kinikini Society (meaning all of them) and one from the Tua'one Crew my sweet Baby girly! The food was really good! We had the usual pizza, bread sticks, chicken salad sandwhiches, chips and salsa, hot wings and rice with lots of desserts. It was a nail bitter all the way to the end, but glad that BYU won... Now everyone has gone and left overs put away, all the excitement has faded and just listening to my boys laugh in the other room just made me think of my day today...
We woke up to the alarm at 530 this morning. I turned it off and just layed there. I got up and woke up Ono for us to get ready to go to the temple. We got ready and headed out to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. We arrived there around 630 and did the 700 session. Before we went in we ran into one of my Dads dearest friend, Pres. David Christensen. We hugged and talked for a while and hugged some more. He just is the neatest man. He made us laugh so hard. He just made our day. He looked at me and goes...now remember your next son has to be named after me David...lol...He asked if I seen anyone lately from the other side (Dad), and he goes if you see him tell him I'm really upset at him...lol...he can't be that busy to not visit me...and he talked to Ono for a bit and gave us one last hug and said I'll see you again. I asked Ono what did he say and Ono says...he said I'm going to Heaven and I said I am and he pointed at you and says because of her...lol...It was so nice to see him. The temple has to be the best place to just get away. I know its a place of rest from the weight of the world. I love going there. We go once a week. If we both can't make it one of us will go for that week. I know that's the reason Ono and I are the way we are because of the spirit of protection that you get from attending the temple for you and your spouse. I know there is a protection over your family when you attend the temple. Don't get me wrong we still have trials but things seem easier to bare when we have to face them and we see our needs more clearly than our wants. The session was wonderful! We sat in the Celestrial room for a while and it was just beautiful. The spirit was beautiful. We walked out to the amazing view of the Wasatch Mountains. You can see the love that Heavenly Father has for us in all the beauty of the earth. I am so grateful for His tender mercies that He gives us each day to feel his love and to feel love of those who have gone before us. Afterward we went and took my mom out to breakfast. We had a great time. We went and walked around the mall and then to Costco and headed back home to get ready for the game...

~Another Day in Paradise~
Today I woke up early this morning with a bad cold and sore throat. I thought I was getting the flu but seems to be just congestion. When I cough it feels like my throat is on fire. Ono is my Dr. and my boys are my nurses. They get so sad when I'm sick. When I had the flu last year I woke up to oranges and apples all around my bed with cups of water, juice, Gatorade and Sprite on my night stand and dresser and 6 big brown eyes looking at me asking me if I'm ok, and if I need anything else. When I had to take my medicine they would just be cheering me on because it was so gross ;P lol...Pita would have a drink ready for me so I can drink after taking it. Ono and OJ just got over their sicknesses. So, I'm sure it was my turn to get it. Ono with congestion and OJ with stomach flu. I really hate getting sick. I feel like once a mom gets sick everyone just suffers. My mind is on everything that needs to be done around the house, the boys, Onos work...and so on! I like taking Thera flu the warming one because it just works for me. I have a good nights rest. I can breath through my nose, and all my body aches are gone. Well thats enough of weird personal stuff...lol
My life has been good. Getting ready for Thanksgiving and excited to spend lots of time with all my family. These holidays remind me of my Dad. He was so big on Thanksgiving and Christmas. He loved it! This was his favorite time of year. He had the funnest games for all of us to play. He always made us laugh. He loved joking around with everyone and making fun of them. He liked to take out his guitar and just sing. He would blow Bing Crosby out of the water with his I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas rendition...lol... ;) Our family always ended up in the family living room almost every night just talking and laughing and singing. I don't sing but I sure do try..lol...I think that talent skipped me :( even though Ono says I have a good voice (whatever! lol). I sure miss the good 'ol days! Around this time of year I really miss him alot. I know he is busy on the other side. I know he is doing the most important work above and on the earth. I'm very grateful that I still have my Mama Bear with me! She is a Spiritual Giant! Grandma is the go to person on everything just ask my kids, when their in trouble they are cryin' out for her! She is so wise and just amazing! I know she misses Dad alot. I know that there are some sad times that we don't see but she knows she is with him forever and she will make it. She is on her 6th mission(I know...is she exalted already LOL). Her last mission we were all like this is it no more missions, but shes an angel lol and who can tell a 59 yr. old what to do...lol... Family is everything to me. On this Thanksgiving Day I am very grateful for my wonderful parents. Who just let me be me, and who did everything right a parent can do for their children to Stay close to the Savior and true to His church. I love you MOM an DAD!!!!
