Where do I Begin...

For some strange reason I wanted to start a blog, and anyone who knows me knows that I hate computers. I like to check ksl, my email and that's about it. I know we are in the 21st century and everything is so advanced but the simple things seem to get lost in the shuffle. I like simple things. I told Ono I was going to start a blog and he was like why? and I told him exactly what I was thinking, I don't know...lol...but who knows something good can come out of it and my whole family has one of these too...so it can't be to bad. This is my first entry and hopefully more to come.

A little 411 on our little family. Ono and I have almost hit our 12th year...where did the time go?? We've grown alot and we still laugh alot :D! He started his own business with two partners in Real Estate and is going really well right now. He volunteered me to be his secretary...lol...(what was he thinkin'??) and its been fun working together. I know he did this because all our boys are in school for the whole day and I can only clean our house so many times, but the timing could not have been better. He loves being his own boss, and I love just having him home with me. He is still very busy. He still travels alot, but he loves it and I love it. Myself, I have just been busy being a mom and a wife/secretary LOL I always have to laugh about it because he always makes me laugh. Some couples can't work together but I really think he just likes seeing me sitting there acting like I'm working when I'm really checking ksl and my emails...LOL :P He knows I'm his #1 fan/support/confidante/and so on... :)!! It was kind of scary to brake off and do this. He left a great job that he'd worked so hard to get to but the timing seemed right. It was kind of like taking 2 steps in the dark and not really knowing what was ahead. We both knew this is something he's wanted to do for along time and the time just was now. You have to be optimistic.

Well the boys are bigger. Pita (9yrs. old) is doing so well in school. He loves playing sports and games. He's a brain! He loves history. He loves learning about historical figures like Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington which are his favorite people. It seems like he knows their life history. I guess he has an old soul. Dallin (9yrs. old) is our little sweet potato! He is my little helper and he loves playing jokes on people and he loves to laugh. He used to put a snake that he bought from the dollar store in my moms bed every night. He would laugh so hard when she would scream and yell. The next morning she took the snake went to the back yard porch and threw it, before I took them to school we went to the back yard to feed our dog Mission and there was the snake. I just see Dallin and Pitas eyes light. Dallin went and picked it up and he and Pita walked back up the porch stairs into the house. I just knew they were going to put it back in their grandmas bed again. He and Pita just could not stop laughing. Dallin is much more relaxed with school and in life...lol...OJ (6yrs. old)is our little monkey. He loves to read and he loves to learn. He likes to play with his army toys. He loves anything that has to do with soldiers. He loves to wrestle and he loves the Undertaker from wrestling. He is my shadow, where ever I go he goes too, and no one can be mean or rude to me because he always will have something to say to you, hes my little protector..lol..I really missed him when he started 1st grade this year :(

This is our favorite time of year! As soon as October hits, I just get excited for the season. I love the weather. I love the fall colors. I love the snow. I don't like driving in it...I definitely drive like an old granny in it, so I'm sure no one likes it when I drive in the snow... ;)but I love the beauty that it brings to the valley and the mountains. We just got done putting up the Christmas decorations and Christmas tree. We usually hold off until Thanksgiving Day but today was just one of those days.

Life is wonderful. I've learned there is nothing to complain about because life is too short.
